Dr. Rebecca Weiss, DO
Dr. Rebecca Weiss is originally from Buffalo, New York. She is a board-certified Family Physician specializing in cosmetic dermatology and laser skin care. As an osteopathic physician, she takes a holistic approach to medicine and is dedicated to ensuring that all of her patients achieve a sense of beauty both inside and out. Dr. Weiss graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000 and subsequently pursued her residency in Family Medicine at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Following residency, she took a position with the United States Public Health Service working on the Hopi Indian Reservation in northern Arizona. She lived and worked on the reservation for over 3 years furthering her expertise in primary care medicine. She moved to Phoenix in 2006. Over the past several years, Dr. Weiss has pursued extensive training in skin care and the latest cosmetic procedures. In addition to routine medical dermatology, she is certified to perform SmartLipo and VASER liposuction procedures, cosmetic injectable treatments such as Botox and Dermal Fillers, photodynamic therapy for acne and anti-aging, and laser skin resurfacing treatments. Dr. Weiss is the medical director and owner of Paradise Medspa as well as the owner and co-director of Norterra Family Medicine, both offices are located here in Phoenix, AZ. She also serves as a trainer for cosmetic injectables for IAPAM. Dr. Weiss is listed in the Worldwide Who's Who professional directory.
Dr. Kristine Sarna, MD
Dr. Sarna is a board-certified Family Physician specializing in wellness and anti-aging services. She is an Arizona native, having completed her medical school education at the University of Arizona in Tucson and her Family Practice Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. Her interests in holistic medicine led Dr. Sarna to pursue extensive training in Medical Acupuncture from UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Sarna specializes in medical weight loss and lifestyle modification with First Line Therapy, treatment of chronic fatigue and pain syndromes, Bio-Identical Hormone therapies, BioMeridian Stress Analysis, and neutraceutical therapies for disease prevention and health promotion. In addition, Dr. Sarna is certified to perform cosmetic acupuncture, laser skin care, and injectable treatments. Dr. Sarna is dedicated to providing our patients with comprehensive wellness services for total body renewal.
Elfie Klassen
Elfie is a certified Life Coach. She completed her training at the Adler School of Professional Coaching, an International Coaching Federation accredited school. She has also worked as a medical assistant in a Family Practice for over 10 years and as a certified Fitness Instructor prior to that. She is Canadian born and a wife and mother of two here in Arizona. She writes: I’ve learned the benefits of making good choices, after years of reaping the consequences of “not so good ones”. Even today, I don’t always choose the best option when it comes to taking care of myself, or my schedule, but practice makes it easier – not perfect… That why I do what I do. I’ve been there...I understand... But knowledge is only part of the solution to change…Having someone believe in you to help you see the great things already within you, to help you tap into those resources already resident in your life…those are the keys to lasting transformation!
Paeton Hopkins
Paeton Hopkins was born in Las Vegas, but has called Arizona home since 2008. Prior to becoming an RN, she became a Pilates Instructor. She is passionate about health and wellness and aspires to help others feel more confident in themselves from the inside out. Now as an aesthetic RN, she provides treatments to amplify one’s natural beauty by creating custom treatment plans for each and every patient. She believes in preserving a natural look and uses her artistic eye to create beautiful, balanced and natural-looking results. Paeton is passionate about educating her patients and providing them with the information they need to make the best decisions regarding their treatment plan. She is always furthering her education so she can stay up to date with the newest technology and bring her patients the best and safest techniques for all things injectables. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, family, doing Pilates, hiking and hanging out with her mini goldendoodle pickles. She is always eager to try new restaurants, travel to new places and trying new things.
Nicole Turcotte
Nicole Turcotte received the Degree of Doctor of Naturopathy in 2002. In 2003 she was designated as a Board Certified Naturopath by the Board of the American Naturopathic Medical Certification*. In 2006 she received a Master of Science Degree in Holistic Nutrition. She has served as nutrition consultant to the HBO series "The Sopranos", to dozens of professional athletes, Broadway theatre, and movie stars. She served as a Board Member for the National Association of Nutritional Professionals and was an integral part of creating their national board exam. When she had a busy naturopathic practice in New York City, she routinely received referrals from Dr. Oz just before he got famous on Oprah. During the last decade she has traveled extensively as a lecturer, presenter, and teacher to physicians, chiropractors, and other health professionals as well as serving as a consultant to major nutraceutical and supplement manufacturers. * Nicole provides nutrition, health, and lifestyle consultation and education. She is not licensed as a naturopath in Arizona and does not practice naturopathic medicine as defined in Arizona.
Kristine Bricke, LE, CLT
Kristine is an Arizona native and joined the Paradise team in 2017 as an Aesthetician. She earned her aesthetics & laser certification from Penrose Academy in North Phoenix. Kristine’s passion for skin care is unparalleled and she has a natural talent for establishing long-term positive relationships, while reaching all your skincare goals.
Meet Our Support Staff
Janet Fales, LE, CLT
Janet joined our team in April of 2008. As the Office Manager, she manages the day-to-day operations of the medspa, and is also a licensed Aesthetician and Laser Technician. Janet studied at the Academy of Aesthetics Arts & Sciences in Tempe, AZ and specialized in Clinical Aesthetics. Shortly thereafter, she received her Laser Certification from IMAj Institute in Scottsdale, AZ. Janet loves sharing her passion for skincare, and receives a deep sense of gratification from helping patients achieve their goals. In her spare time, Janet enjoys exercise (which she recently discovered at the ripe age of 50), practicing yoga, reading and exploring culinary delights created by her husband, Tony!
Krissy McCraw-Clayton
Krissy joined the Paradise team in February 2013 as a Medical Assistant. Krissy has been a medical assistant for over 15 years, and has worked in ob/gyn, pediatrics, family practice and plastic surgery. She found her passion to be in plastic surgery, and loves the medspa industry! Krissy assists Dr Weiss with all injectable needs, SmartSkin CO2’s, SmartLipo and Liposonix. Krissy has a beautiful family including, her husband, 10 year son, 10 year old step son and 18 year old step daughter. When she’s not in Paradise, they enjoy camping, hiking, boating and going to the movies!
Charli Cornell
Charli is originally from Florida but moved to Arizona at age 17. She attended DeVry Institute of Technology to study engineering, but her education was interrupted due to the move. She received her laser certification during her previous job and did procedures including acoustic wave therapy, cool sculpting, ipl, and radio frequency skin tightening. She was also a manager at RegenaSpa. Charli has been married for 24 years and likes to have fun, especially anything outdoors.
Charlie Queeno, LMT, LA, LC
Charlie Queeno has been in the Spa and Wellness Industry since 2002. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Aesthetician and holding a degree in Spa Management, he has worked in many arenas within the spa Industry. Charlie first started as an Instructor for the Arizona School of Massage Therapy teaching many massage modalities, ranging from Basics and Advanced Massage to more Eastern modalities, such as Acupressure and Shiatsu. Charlie joined Steiner Leisure as their Corporate Lead Spa Trainer. Loving the business end of the spa industry, Charlie went onto becoming the Spa Director for two Four Diamond Resort Spas. He ran and operated Amara Resort and L’Auberge de Sedona. Charlie later returned to Phoenix and began teaching at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) and developed SWIHA’s Degree program in Spa Management. In 2013, Charlie was brought on board with world-famous Hylunia Skincare to spearhead their Spa Division as well as managing daily operations, marketing and new business development. In 2015, Charlie relocated back to Arizona where he now assists in running Paradise Medspa.
Jill Wolf
Paradise welcomed Jill to the team in August 2016. She's been in the spa and wellness industry since 2011 when she received her certification as a licensed aesthetician and laser technician from the Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics (SWINA). Jill then worked for SWINA as spa coordinator, admissions adviser and as the front desk student clinic manager. During her time at SWINA, she also worked at both sister schools, Spirit of Yoga (SOY) and Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA) as a front desk coordinator. While working at SWIHA/ SOY, she attended many classes in yoga, massage therapy and life coaching. Before the beauty industry, Jill came from a strong background with 12 years of retail management. She is an enthusiastic people person and enjoys providing individualized customer service in helping people with their passion.
Jil Thompson
Jil joined the Paradise team in summer 2020. Born in Berlin, Germany and fluent in German, Jil moved to Arizona in 1997. In 2007, Jil received certification as a licensed Aesthetician from the Arizona Skin and Makeup Institute in addition to more than years of customer service experience. She enjoys all aspects of the beauty industry and is looking forward to being a part of the Paradise/Wellness team and continuing to learn new skills. During her free time, she spends with her family, enjoying the outdoors in our RV and boat. Her children, ages eight and ten, are the light of my life. Jil also has a huge passion for yoga/meditation because it has really changed her life for the better.
